Help! My 16 month old berner, Basil was skunked the other day. I guess the "stinky kitty" didn't want to play. We washed him with vinegar right away, and used that Nature's Miracle shampoo the next day, but he still has a bit of lingering skunk odor. I know that skunk spray is powerful stuff, and it'll take ages to totally go away, but is there anything to speed up the process. Basil no longer reeks, but he's still unpleasant-smelling enough that no one wants to cuddle him, which, to a berner, is like the end of the world. Anyone have any advice on getting my baby back to his sweet-smelling self?
