Just wanted to put in my two cents. I took my Berner boy to Petsmart for puppy, basic, and advanced training. They use positive reinforcement and give some good information to take home and continue the training process. My boy didn't want to do much of training while at the store, he'd rather play with all the dogs. But I had the information to take with me and work on at home. Definitely check on the trainers at the store, go see them in another class. The Petsmart here has two trainers, one that I think is great and very interactive with the dogs and their humans. The other just didn't make me feel comfortable when I watched her teach a class. So I always made sure to sign up for classes that the woman I liked taught. Hope this helps!!

What's the story on these. One of my puppy people wants to take classes here.
My first reaction is UGH. What do you all think? Does anyone know their
training methods? Are they positive or negative trainers? Does it vary by area
or is it consistant? I am located in CT. Thanks.
