Any experiences, good or bad, with Wellness products, specifically the Fish & Sweet Potato?
I love their biscuits and my dogs go nuts over them. However, I read the package on the kibble and it is a little high in protein and fat for what I like to feed. I did not go to it because of the percentages and recently debated their senior formula over Innova senior and went with the Innova. Someone pointed out at that fish is menhaden which is a garbage fish, most often used in fertilizer. I have also heard to watch the mercury(?) levels as some fish used in food come from waters where the levels are a little high which can result in problems down the road.
Personally I feed California Natural Chicken and Rice to a sensitive stomach 11+ year old (until I went to Innova senior to drop some weight off him) and all my dogs do very well on it. The chicken and rice seems to be a little easier on the stomach - lamb and rice even easier but I understand the chicken protein is better for the dogs.
