Hey all.

While at a small pet store recently, I was handed a brochure from the owner
featuring Oxyfresh Pet Products. They have ear cleaner, Vitamin supplements,
Shampoo and others. The one that has intrigued me is an Oral Hygiene
Solution, which you are supposed to add to the water dish. It claims to be
an odorless, pleasant tasting (is it possible to be both?) solution with
Oxygene and Zinc Acetate which will eliminate pet breath and help reduce
plaque and tartar on the teeth.

Now I brush Vandal's teeth every other day with moderate success, and his
breath is not a problem. I also use "Oxyclean" for certain clean up jobs
around the house and occassionaly in the laundary. But I had not heard about
using the Oxygene concept for ears, mouth and body.

Any experiences with this product? I have not purchased or used any of the
pet products yet, but would appreciate any feedback on the stuff.

Second, completely unrelated question - generally speaking, what protein
level is too high for a BMD? I know each dog is different and all. Vandal is
a smallish 75lbs 1 yeaar old neutered male.

Thanks,
Mike, Deanna and Vandal
