Esta, I agree with several other Listers that it really depends on the dog. But for our dogs, we have had friends come and stay at our house. When Jay and I went to Guatemala to meet our son, close friends came with their 2 Aussies (our dogs all get along famously) and stayed for 5 days. It was great. And when they go out of town, their Aussies come and stay with us -- everybody knows the dogs and the dogs know each other and the people. I think that the dogs enjoy their little "holiday" too!
