I hear that, but you cant really automate something that isn't on your
network yet. Besides, you aren't really automating when you have to
manually type in each PIN and copy and paste body text and email subject
via that URL you posted earlier. Im not trying to be negative, I just
think the fastest way for you to get the word out is via the other BES
console, that is assuming it is active and available for use.

Thanks!

I understand. So the users will still be on their BES from the
acquired company still? If so, couldn't you ask the BES admin there to
send a email out to the BB users group via AD or BES Manager console?

        Thanks!

We're bringing in about 150 new users from a company we
acquired. We don't have access to their BES (v3.6 -eww), but would like
to send them a PIN message with simple migration instructions (more
detailed ones available via other methods). A PIN message tends to grab
people's limited attention span better than YAE (yet another email).
Once they're on our BES, it's a simple task - either from the BES or
using the BB ResKit.

Send a PIN message to them before they are on our BES. that's
the trick.

oh... they're not all migrating at once, either. we may have 3
one day and 2 the next, 6 the following day etc. So, I need to be able
to do this programmatically using an input file.

That's a pretty cool find actually. If you know the PIN
couldn't you send via your BB? Or are you trying to stick to a 'large
keyboard' format :-)

                Thanks!

                Greetings --

I'm looking for a method of sending an email message
that gets converted & delivered as a PIN message to the device. Is
anyone aware of such? The devices are not on my BES yet, so I'm not
able to use the BlackBerry Manager (or the BRK).

                I found http://www.web2pin.com/Web2PinFree.aspx, which
is an interesting application, and tells me it's possible.

                Kind regards,

                Trevor Vance
