Might save you some time if you move 4.0 to the new server and then do a
in place upgrade to 5.0 then everything will carry over.

Then you can't migrate.

You'll need to recreate all of your IT Policies in BES 5, and you'll
also need to security wipe and reactivate all of the handhelds.

I don't think so. Each BES has its own database on my sql server.

[Bes-admins] BES 4.0 to 5.0

I'm currently running 2 BES severs, the first one is 4.0 with all of my
users and policies, and the second one is a new 5.0 that I just built.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to migrate my IT
policies and users from the 4.0 server to the 5.0 server?

Thanks for you help.
