We don't allow personal BB on the enterprise.
If you don't control user's ability to install 3rd party applications, a user
could upload their business contacts and calendars to FaceBook or other social
networking site?

Are there any known security vulnerabilies with BlackBerry device that can be
installed with a 3rd Party Application?

Why would you want to restrict people from having the goodness of the appworld?
The only thing I force on BB's is a signature from our company. Else they have
free reign of whatever they want to do. Unless you work for the gov. or don't
own your own BB, I would expect many others to be like this also.

Subject: [Bes-admins] BlackBerry IT Policy

Hi all,
Just want to get a feel for how restrictive is everyone BlackBerry IT Policy?

Our current controls:
1) Dissallow Third Party Application Download
2) BlackBerry Device Password ( Min. 6 character + numeric + alpha)
3) Disable USB Mass Storage Mode

With the new BlackBerry AppWorld, is anyone opening their policy to allow users
to install applications?
