It switched on and informed me that an update was available and I clicked on the update button. It took me through to the website and when I got there I fully expected to see that tick box with the google toolbar and chrome, but that wasn't there and instead there was a tick box for Mc.Afee free virus scan which I unticked as I already have Mc.Afee virus scan on my machine. There were no other tick boxes there and I downloaded it without any problems at all and it ran fine. Wonder if the google stuff was causing some kind of problem and they have taken it off. I know in v11 the last before the new one here, issues with Adobe and that box with jaws would not uncheck, I got it by another site similar to the old nminite site. I have heard that Adobe has made it easy with this version to uncheck that box so we know for sure it is in fact unchecked before the install. Last night however was something else. IE was loading but very very sluggish. I had to unplug the modem and hook it back again, then call my ISP this morning to get them to reset the signal, I do not get why this happens in the first place, since no bad weather is happening in all of TX.
