There is no problem with Best Charts. The problem is Yahoo.

Your claim that HQuote - Pro has no problem getting complete data from Yahoo is the only one I know of any software that uses Yahoo data.

I have at least six programs that use Yahoo data. When Yahoo data is bad, they are all bad.

I suppose it would be possible to develop a program that would examine the data and detect missing data, make another download, as many times as needed until all data was available and then assemble a good file from the pieces of several.

But I doubt HQuote is doing that.

If they are using Yahoo data, they are vulnerable to the same weaknesses of Yahoo that everyone else is.

Rik -

What I can't understand is that my downloading data from Yahoo with
HQuote - Pro,  my charts are just fine.  They have today's, yesterdays... etc.
Also all Intraday charts are fine,  10 - 15-30-60 min.

Why the problems with Best Charts?    I guess I should look at importing data
into Best Charts this way - but have never been able to make that work.

Don't worry about me. I am a frustrated user also.

If you do try Amibroker, you can use Yahoo data, but you do have other choices. I use TC2000 data with Amibroker.

Another good choice is Incredible Charts.
