Barry

The different indicators measure different elements (trends,
momentum, volume, etc) in relation to price, and how they are
calibrated (optimized) will impact on the cycles (short term, long
term, etc) that they are measuring. See my post
http://www.stock-anal.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000684.html

In the first section (titled = GETTING STARTED WITH BEST CHARTS =),
if you start reading from the paragraph beginning 'Now you have to
decide on if, and how, you will optimize...', there are ideas on how
to interpret the indicators, and how to use BBI, as Rik has
suggested.

Later sections
===== HOW THE INDICATORS AND SIGNALS WORK =====
===== MORE ABOUT INDICATORS IN GENERAL =====
might also give you some more ideas.

Hope this helps.
