B-C assumes most files reside on the C: drive. For example
optimization parameters are assumed to be in C:\M-C\opd.txt. The
default drive on my computer is F: so, as a minimum, I would like to
be able to specify F:\M-C\opd.txt as the pathname.

Also, some very long pathname strings can result in XP. Currently,
B-C seems to cutoff at 46 characters which is enough if one doesn't
try to specify F:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\M-C\
for example.

Is there a solution for this short of renaming drives and putting
documents in the F:\ directory?
