Directly under the words "52 week range" is two prices, the high and low
for the past 52 week period, thus the "52 week range of price."

It has nothing to do with the charts displayed below. It is just additional
information for you.

Perhaps I am putting too much weight on the "52-week Range" notation near
the upper right corner of the TA window...

Hi David

What I am seeing is 4.34 displays approximately the last 200 days of data
no matter how large the data file is--even when the file has over 520
points. I could be wrong, but this seems to be a change from 4.33 where up
to a calendar year would be displayed if the file was large enough. With
4.33, if the file was not large enough for the calculation (e.g., moving
average) then the moving average plot started after the beginning of the
time scale. Sometimes, only a brief segment was plotted.

So, it seems 4.34 is doing the plots differently. In any event, I feel a
full year's display is entirely appropriate.

Regards,
Howard

Like other charting packages, BC is unable to plot all of the
available data because of the way in which indicators are calculated.
For example, if you are plotting a 50-day moving average, you need 50
price data points just to be able to plot the first MA data point.

Remember that BC is also doing complex AIO calculations that require
additional combinations of data, thereby further reducing the number
of resulting data points for plotting.

Not being the developer, I don't know exactly how BC works, but it's
possible that it only plots price data back as far as the earliest
data point available for the most 'truncated' indicator.
