I did find the answer to making this new version work with weekly charts, but
like you, uninstalled and went back to the earlier version which is all I needed.
I am sure this new version has features that "hackers" find useful but I need
something that gives me simple buy and sell signals.

Subject: Re: [bestcharts] Weekly charts & Signals

I too had this problem. The earlier paid version had a problem the name-codes on most  of the charts have been replaced by number codes. This makes identification of the scrips to which a chart belongs impossible. I thought  installation of the new version would be intended to sort out this problem. But on installation, I had the same experience as you have. Instead of making the software more user-friendly,  it made it difficult to use. I had to uninstall it and switch back to the old. In spite of pointing out the difficulty experienced due to use of number-codes, there seem to no response from the Yahoo site. I did write to the Yahoo Group to use their influence to get the Yahoo site to revert back to use of name-codes on the charts. The forum co-ordinator wrote to say that he has forwarded it Yahoo. This was about two weeks ago. There has been no change even till today. Even if the use of number-codes is done by the exchange, replacing it by name codes, as it has been until about two months ago is an easy matter. It appears this site is insensitive to needs of the users. They seem to be playing GOD !
