J8 does not intent to be backward compatible with J7 or J6 so that the name IFJ6 is removed.
IFCONSOLE defined in J6 is also removed. Instead you can test for jconsole/jqt using the noun IFQT_z_. You may also reinstate those decommitted names inside your own profile.ijs or startup.ijs.
