I'll amend the prior comment I made earlier about the readability of JReverse
read only windows. I was demonstrating J to a friend and set the color scheme
to JStandard and then back to JReverse and the problem I had seen disappeared.
What I had seen in read only IJS windows in JReverse was a pale yellow
background that made white, yellow and light gray text appear very faint. The
medium gray I see now as a background color for JReverse looks fine.
I cannot duplicate the original problem.

I found the read only ijs display using JReverse color Scheme to be
unreadable.
Is there a configuration item for Read only Background color?

The dbeta for windows is available at the web site.
This beta has the same JE the previous release.
The main change is a new library that lays the groundwork for IDE
changes.
See Help|Release Highlights|IDE.
ijs windows are now opened readonly.
