Will it be a problem of your display card driver. Which display card is in use?
Do the two vista use the same display card?
I have duplicated the problems on a 2nd Vista machine, but could not
reproduce the Paint Demo problem on an XP SP2 machine. I was able to
reproduce the Splitter Demo behaviour you describe above on XP, which is
not as severe as it appears to be in Vista. I have posted some
screenshots to the wiki.
