Does the server stop altogether? If so, can you look at your home -
> Library -> Logs -> slimserver.log file and see what the error is
at the end.

on the remote for my Squeezebox 2), Slimserver stops. I went back to
6.1.2 and it was even worse - Slimserver would only ever stay running
for about a second, regardless of whether I pressed play or not.
