I am sure I saw a thread on FW29 bug some time ago and stangely I could no longer find it anymore.
I believe considerable number of beta testers like myself are having this same problem. See http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2984. SD reportedly implemented fixes in FW35. That said to have solved the problems for some. But the fix sure did not help in my case.
