Hmm, consider me suitably scolded. I don't seem to have a slimserver.pref or .prefs file according to a find / - where should this be?
And all I could find in the announcement (related) post was this: "You have MySQL installed already, and you have a dbi:mysql dbsource, dbuser & dbpassword config in your slimserver.pref. SlimServer will use these values, and your existing database." I have these in my slimserver.CONF file - is that what was meant?
