thanks michael.. i will try that when I get home from work to see if it works ... however the problem seems to be more on the Slimserver end.. not the SB3 (although I could be wrong on that) .. in so far as I want to figure out why Slimserver on the PC actually stops running... generally I leave my server on 24/7 with slimserver as the opnly app running... never had this issue before so am just wondering what may be the cause of it suddenly stopping... did not think that would be a firmware issue .. but will try the factory reset for sure
