I shut down the old server and fired up the new one yesterday.
Firmware was updated on both Squeezebox2s, and the server began
scanning the library, but the HTTP server and the remote interface were
completely unresponsive during this time. Not just slow - totally
incapacitated. Oddly enough, the date/time screensaver was running at
the time and didn't miss a blink in updating the seconds on two SB2s.
Can you try this again? I've not seen it before.. if anything, the response
should be much better now that the OS is handling the context switching
between the scanner and the main server.
