http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=123165 Seems that isScanning isn't set to 1 until well after the scan begins and database tables have been cleared, although I do see the "SlimServer is scanning..." message in the web interface, which is where I'm running the scanner from. One thing I noticed today is that there's no longer a "SlimServer is scanning your library..." message shown briefly on the Squeezebox display.
