Does running some of these queries interactively and messing around with the SQL logic, indexing, etc. sound like an approach reasonably likely to bear fruit?
It does. Keep in mind that we're using an abstraction layer on top of the DB, but it's pretty good at doing joins correctly, etc. -D -- <dr.pox> what're the units of the coefficient of agnosticity?
