For me, using slimserver 7.0, i found that occasionally the server would shut down or crash when I connect via 2 clients.
Server on a WinXP Pro machine (in a workgroup, not a domain), absolutely no antivirus on the server machine, connected via wireless router Client A is my laptop I bring home from work (system is on a domain), connected via wireless router, access http//XXXXXdyndns.org:9000 Client B is my brothers PC miles away at his home, he connects to http//XXXXXdyndns.org:9000/stream.mp3 in winamp, then http//XXXXXdyndns.org:9000 Client A sees Client Bs IP in the slimserver GUI, Client A uses the proper Player IP to set up a stream and this is where the server would shutdown or crash This is the scenario I've seen the server shutdown, not when I use slim to serve to my squeezebox3. but when the server crashes, the display on my squeezebox also shuts off. I wonder if it is due to 2 clients accessing the same player session?
