Rather than uninstalling SlimServer 6.3 I simply renamed the directory, which I think should be ok.
I installed the 6.5 GA release. But the tray icon just blinks saying SlimServer Starting, but it doesn't actually start. I've tried to get the web interface to start but because I don't think the server is starting the browser has nothing to connect to. I checked the Event Log and I see some MySQL errors on the mysqld and this: The SlimServer service was successfully sent a stop control.
