Hmm.  I guess I figured that a CD download is more unattended while the
actual install isn't.  I hoped to get the install process simple and
quick at the expense of CD download time.  I don't know.  I guess the
big advantage of the http install is that stuff is downloaded from
mirrors with lot's of bandwidth vs. my DSL connection.  It's still not
that easy to get the image size down because of all the RPM dependency
bloat.  Just the Core and Base package groups pull in enough
dependencies to make the CD quite large.  It'll take some effort to
analyze the list and exclude unneeded packages.

By the way, I started this project because I wanted to learn about
kickstart, so this is my first attempt.  I've added a link to the
webpage if you (or anyone else) is interested in looking at the ks.cfg
file while waiting for the download.
