Tried 4 different browsers firefox and IE7 but no change. Went in and deleted /var/lib/squeezecenter/cache, restarted SC and the icons appeared. However, I had previously deleted the Artwork and Files cache to no effect. This is a bit drastic as I now have a rescan taking place.
