I'm running SC7 on a LinkStation HG, which has PowerPC processor. Although I have seen complaints in server.log about "Error: Couldn't find mDNSResponderPosix binary! Aborting!" every time I restart SC7, so far I haven't seen any adverse effects, because SC continues to load and run.
Thanks for these instructions, which I've used to build mDNSResponder on my LS-HG, but now the question: what is the practical impact, other than having one less error line in the log?
