Hmm,another data point while not crashing ( yet ) 25118 do not give back the used memory when restarted, have to reboot the OS for that to take place.
I'll try the 25126 nightly and see what that does. Will be interesting to see what the OP's system will do ? He had the severe memory leak, i only had/have ? a small leak which for now is hard to provoke ? but being somewhat ignorant on linux memory use, given enough time SC seems to use all my physical memory ? it starts at 298 mb and end up around 930mb which is just a bit short of all ram i have ? is this normal ? I can now see some increase in memory use with radio ? sorry for being confused i don't get this in every time i choose to play radio ?
