True, and makes sense. Thanks for the "addendum", Philip. So if using Mp3tag (or the like) to add tags manually and have Album Artist="Various Artists", you should set -TCMP=1- (ID3v2.3/v2.4) or -COMPILATION=1- (FLAC, OGG).
If using MusicBrainz -Picard-, it will do this automatically.
