Andy has said this is normal. He hasn't written the auto-rescan yet, so it will give that error. The error I had shortly after that is that it would break if SC didn't have read/execute permissions on everything in the music folder. (I had hid some stuff by chmoding it so SC couldn't read it... it no longer tolerates that.)
