I'm doing quite exactly (with firmware 6038) what other were trying to todo in the linked bugs/forums posts: In short: when you enable the controller as a playback device the sound always comes from the internal spearkers. When you plugin headphones (tried different brands) nothing changes (i.e. no sound coming from headphones but sound continues to play from internal speakers). Even rebooting with plugged-in headphones doesn't change the situation. This can be 'fixed' with changing the *.lua-script as described in the forum post (but effectively this changes the behaviour to play music always via the headphone jack, no auto-switching as its supposed to be) As the corresponding bug has a target milestone of 7.4. I was hoping to get an improvement with the new firmware. As I stuck with the 'constantly rebooting problem' I couldn't test the headphones-behaviour with the new firmware yet.
