The failure message is because you uninstalled the squeezecenter. Not sure why that step is there. I was able to have a working system ( NV+ w/7.4.0 ) by ssh'ing to the NV+ and changing /etc/rc3.d/S20squeezeboxserver to /etc/rc3.d/s20squeezeboxserver. The lower case s20 does not load the service, but did not modify the contents of the script. Then rebooting the NV+. The squeezeboxserver still starts up, but only one time. I have not had the time to see where it is starting from.
