Am having this problem too having just upgraded from 7.3 to 7.4

Having ssh'd onto the nas and root'ing around I notice that the old
startup script /etc/init.d/squeezecenter is still there, so is the new
one ( /etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver )

Surely as part of the upgrade process you (the guys writing the code)
should be checking for existence of the former and removing it. This
goes for ANY files that are part of the previous installation(s) but not
found in the new ones.

Please address these issues in your next fix.

I hate old versions of code lying around on my box. So messy :-(
Love the product btw, and the new version, if only it works.
