Well, I'm one of those persons who HAS a large database (185.000 tracks) and I have to admit: 7.6sqlite starts quick (20.000 tracks scanned in 20 minutes) and gets slower so it take about 6 or 7 hours for a full rescan. But the worst is, tha 7.6sqlite uses much more system ressources than 7.5trunk (mysql). And this grows tooo, in the beginning ?ou can work something else on the pc. After some 30 minutesit uses nearly the full cpu and despite 4 gb ram you have to take a 6 hour break from working :( MySQL is not really an alternative for the MySQL engine is neither working in 7.6 nor in 7.5embedded.
