A very odd thing's happening during my searches - both new scans & complete rescans - it seems to be missing one particular artist only....
Info :- I've just updated from 7.5.1_r30796 which exhibits the same. I'm ripping CD's into Apple Lossless with iTunes & using the iTunes plugin. As far as I can see, all other files are shown in iTunes & Squeeze. The files are visible in the folder & play with iTunes. The files copy to my iPod. There are 5 albums affected, totalling 6 discs. The artist name is UNKLE The name is spelled in capital letters. I've deleted albums and re-ripped them - still invisible. I've overwritten the same albums. I've deleted them, added other music (to make sure there's no freaky local disk-usage problem) and then ripped the UNKLE albums again - still invisible. Any ideas - could it have something to do with the capital letters ? Also, where's the search-by-folder option gone for my Duet - I was going to try to find the albums & then "force" them to be added to the database that way but the search function seems to be gone.
