Hi all, My very first post at this forum :).
Have been using SB3 since many years and I'm pretty satisfied since I bought a QNAP TS-259 and using SB Server together with both Ipeng for Iphone and Ipad. My set up: QNAP TS-259 with SSOTS 4.9.1b1 and SB Server 7.6.0 r 31672 SB3 Read in the Ipeng thread that SB server version 7.6 is much faster that the current 7.5.1 (now 7.5.2) due to SQLite. And that is word, scanning much faster and Ipeng is amazingly quick. However there are two main problems: 1. I'm using Itunes as my repository for all my music and have been doing that for years. When trying to use the Itunes plugin in SB server 7.6, SB Server find all tracks (11005), but when the scanning is done there are only 7633 tracks visible. I did some investigation and I found out that all tracks that contains either a å, ä or ö (I'm from Sweden) is not visible, despite that SB Server found the track when scanning. Tried to search for the problem, but I didn't find any answer on this particular problem. What to do? My thought is that the Itunes Integration is so "needed" and wanted that it should work from the beginning. Anybody else that have the same problem? Are there any solution or bug fix coming up soon for this? 2. Impossible to use "Look for new and changed music", I can only use "Clear library and rescan everything". No big impact I suppose?
