Steffen, you said that you had the same problem as lirsa. That is, problems with itunes library files where the file (or path) names contain non-ASCII characters.
lirsa is using a Qnap as his itunes library, as far as I can tell remotely mounted from the Mac. He runs SbS on the same Qnap. You appear to have introduced another variable, or two. First, you are running SbS on a Shevaplug, which has an NFS mount of the iTunes library on the Qnap. Second you say that the iTunes libary on the QNap was created there by copying it from the Mac, rather than being created directly by iTunes using a remote mount. Are you having problems specifically with non-ASCII filenames? Did this configuration work for you with a previous release of SbS? I note that the pathname in the extract of the XML file that you posted is: file://localhost/Users/steffen/Music/iTunes/iTunesLibrary/Music/Compilations/The%20Disco%20Boys%20-%20Volume%207/2-07%20Be%20Your%20Man%20(Sir%20Colin%20Remix).mp3 Is /Users/steffen/Music/iTunes/iTunesLibrary... a valid pathname on your Shevaplug? -- awy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ awy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7480 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84292 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
