7.5 is the stable branch and is for bugfixes. We also use it when
something needs release before the bleeding edge can be qualified. A
good example of that is Spotify support, which came out a few months
ago.

Yes, 7.6 is superior in a lot of ways. All of us in the development
team are very anxious to shift focus to getting it out the door, and
look forward to that effort.

That said, we'll be seeing a 7.5.4 before 7.6.0. 7.5.4 includes some
server-side fixes for Comet that allows our new mobile app to use Comet
notifications for data refreshing rather than polling. I would expect
7.5.4 on the very near horizon and 7.6.0 officially around June.
