1. It depends on what version LMS and firmware you are running now. The Boom and Receiver firmware haven't been updated for a long time, so those won't change unless you're running a really old LMS. It looks like the Controller firmware is changed from 7.7.2 to 7.8.0, but not the Radio.

Note that the names are as follows: baby = Radio fab4 = Touch jive = Controller receiver = Receiver squeezebox2 = SB2 and SB3 squeezebox = SB (aka SB1) 2.
