Sorry Michael. Bad chosen phrase. Ill explain.
If I add a favourite containing a ´ like:

(instead of the more obvious

either in artist, album or song name first time this favourite is played
it's ok. But second time I play the favourite the particular song is
nowhere to be found. The UI doesn't display the song any more. You can't
find it via search. It's just gone.
If I then "clear library and rescan everything" the song again appears
in UI (either in a search or when browsing the music folder), but the
favourite link is broken. Add it to favourite again, play it one time,
and things repeats itself.
My temporary solution: keep the song out of favourites (or as I have
done delete all favourites).
To my best knowledge I'm not using cue sheets. I just have
\<artist>\<album>\"bunch of flac files" + folder.jpg
