Also installed but on Ubuntu 10.04. I'm not sure if there's been any changes since the recentish nightly I've been running so I don't expect to get any issues but I'll report if I do.
A question though is an upgrade on Ubuntu using dpkg likely to behave any differently to a fresh install? Bear in mind I'm a windows user so I'm quite used to upgrades to sometimes be a problem. I've updated from 7.7.3 through various nightly 7.8 and finally to the RC.
