I've been using 7.9 beta for quite a while on my Windows Server 2012 R2.
There is enough RAM, so no problem. But Server-Manager shows that memory
used by LMS is slowly increasing. After a week it reaches about 300 MB,
when I restart it drops back to 220 MB. Is this behavior known?

but it typically stabilizes after being used for a few hours or days.
It's not only a question of the time being run, but mostly of the
features being used. Take eg. the web UI: when you fire it up for the
first time, LMS will grow considerably. Even if you do this only after a
week.
In particular if you're using LMS on a big machine with lots of memory
and have the memory performance preference set to Max, it will use a lot
of RAM to cache data. Full text search, libraries, Browse Music Folders
etc. can all add quite a bit to the overall usage.
And then it all depends on your library size, too. Of course.
