A couple of days ago I upgraded LMS from 7.8.1 to 7.9 on my ReadyNAS. Everything seems to work just fine apart from the artwork in New Music.
Is it artwork for "New Music" only? Did you try to flush the caches on iPeng, too? Anything in server.log?
