Hi Carsten, probably not. There are cases where Fkey to fill in faces (closed edge loops), where fill would find overlapping areas and create holes. As an example - try: - Add Suzzane - Delete, Only Faces - Select All - Press F ... See how the faces are filled in. Undo the fill and press Alt+F ... See how this different method gives very different results (not very useful in this case).
