Only spaces that have those red arrows on them are replenished each round. You don't put anything onto The Day Laborer space each round. You simply get to choose 1 food and 1 of the other options when you place a person onto the space (so any time anyone uses that space they will only ever get 2 food/resources maximum). So again, only the actions with red arrows receive the amount of resources indicated in the space each round. Hope this helps!
