When you use a space with a plus symbol, you take exactly what is shown on that space. Unlike the arrow spaces, which are added to every round and will contain 1 or more of what they provide, plus spaces are the same every round. They provide exactly what is shown on the space. If it helps you to remember, just don't put anything on these spaces. When you use a plus space, grab the resources from where you store them off-board.
