I scored 4 Avalon Hill games new and in shrink on ebay for AU$50. Considering some of these are on the shelf at my FLGS for $80 still, I figured it was worth it. I got Sword and Skull, Monsters Menace America, Nexus Ops, and Rocketville.
Rocketville sounds like iyt should be a decent light game for 3 players, which fills a niche for me. I'm looking over the rules now though, and have a question about the "Neighbourhood Centre" tiles. The rules read: "At the end of the game, each of these spaces counts as 1.5 spaces when awarding Popularity bonuses for neighbourhoods". This makes it sound like I would somehow be awarded more popularity for winning a neighbourhood centre, but as I understand the rules, popularity is awarded at a flat rate of 4 points for most spaces, 2 points for 2nd most spaces, per neighbourhood, with points shared for ties. Is this rule just a complicated way of saying "if players are tied for the number of spaces won, the player with the neighbourhood centre wins"? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "BGG Down" group.
