MSRP is $39.95 for the core set. What appears to have happened is
that Amazon mistaking logged the core set as one of the chapter packs
and listed it at $9.95. Overstock apparently tries to underprice
Amazon by 1% so locked in their cost for the core set at $9.85.
Amazon caught the error and change dthe price but Overstock never did.

So anyone that placed a pre-order with Overstock is wondering if their
price of $9.85 will be honored or if it will increase up to what
Amazon now has listed.

FFG must not be doing a good job of communicating what they are
shipping. There were at least 2 cases of people ordering Red November
from Amazon and paying the standard price. But instead of 1 copy,
they received an entire case of 6 copies. The box for the case looked
attractive and the games are so small that the mistake was easy to
make but ultimately I think FFG is at fault for not making it clear on
the case box. I assume similar things may have happened with the LCG
core set.
